The philosophy behind our project is simple: no sound-absorbing materials, just metal
We have detached ourselves from the use of sound-absorbing materials to obtain a clean and unique keyboard sound.
The result is an all-metal keyboard!
With internal spaces reduced to a minimum, with a weight of 2.5 kg in the configuration with Brass Weight and 4 mm stainless steel plate. The use of brass, aluminum and stainless steel produces a crisp and precise sound, free of annoying resonances.
Gold, and ruthenium, three different galvanic treatments, to ensure the durability of the brass.
A mirror finish to further enhance this protective treatment.
We chose an unconventional top-mount mounting system, thus obtaining a decisive response of switches and keycaps.
Each key combination is a distinctive sound. Every choice is customisation and recognisable of sound.
We offer different plate options, guaranteeing a unique typing experience. Customisations in:
- 1.5 mm aluminum, flexible and soft to the touch, with a slight reverberation.
- 4 mm alum with flex cut, 40% stiffer than the 1.5 mm version but still flexible. No reverb.
- Stainless steel 1.5mm offers a modest rigidity and with a clear sound, the reverberation is lower than the 1.5mm aluminum version but still present.
- 4 mm stainless steel, rigid, precise and with a clean sound and free of reverberation. Our favourite.
Reuse the packaging! Remove the protective material on the inside fixed by velcro. A briefcase, multiple purposes: from the storage of the tasteira itself, to the transport, to the containment of switches and keycaps. Give space to imagination!
Still from an ecological perspective, we decided not to provide accessories, such as specific keys for disassembling the keeb or callipers for the keycaps, it was a thoughtful choice, depending on the fact that those who have the manual for this product, already have their equipment far superior to that which could be provided in an included kit.
